How to Enroll

  1.  Complete the enrolment from and send it directly Sheffield College od Studies at the address below. You may find and complete the form on line send it by clicking on the “send Now” button, or you may print the form and either fax or mail it to us.
  2. We will send an invoice stating the fees to be paid.

Course Cancellation and Refunds

Note: Prospective students should not pay fees until such time as they have approval in writing of a ”Visa in Principle” from NZIS.

Sheffield College of Studies will provide details of the cost components for the purpose of working out the maximum deductible percentage to the student. In the event of a dispute over the cost component deducted, a student can contact management of Sheffield College of Studies to seek a resolution, then  the International Education Appeal Authority if necessary.

Refunds are sent to the payment source (usually agent/retailer) of the student after the student has cancelled their student visa for Sheffield College of Studies and/or changed their return flight and shown these to a Director at Sheffield College of Studies. After the above periods, no refund will be given unless in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the Directors.

Students cannot shorten courses or transfer afternoon classes to extra morning classes. Paid Tuition fees are not transferrable to another student.

Accommodation cancelled more than 2 weeks before course starts will be charged the Accommodation Placement fee.  Accommodation cancelled less than 2 weeks before a course starts will be charged the Accommodation Placement fee AND 2 weeks accommodation fees.

After arrival, accommodation payments can be refunded after 2 weeks notice is given to both parties - the host family and Homestay co-ordinator or to the Sheffield Administrator.

Note: All discussions concerning conditions of enrolment and cancellations are subject to New Zealand Law. Cancellation made in writing at least 14 days before course commencement will result in a full refund of fees less a NZ$500 cancellation fee.  No refund is usually made in the event of cancellation more than 5 days after course commencement.  In the case of cancellation before you arrive in New Zealand, or if you are not granted a visa to study in NZ, Sheffield College of Studies will refund all tuition and homestay fees less NZ$500. Course cancellation also occurs when a student fails to attend classes for more than two consecutive weeks or completes a notice to withdraw in writing. It is the student’s responsibility to confirm their intention to withdraw from a course in writing.  Any fees outstanding will remain payable until official notification is received.
